Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, Tesla, and now also Twitter recently announced new features coming to the Twitter app. In a series of tweets, Musk revealed that the new features would include direct messaging (DM) replies and video chat support.
The DM reply feature will allow users to reply directly to a DM message, making it easier to keep track of conversations. Users will be able to reply to a specific message in a conversation thread, making it easier to follow the conversation and keep track of what’s been said.
Twitter users will have the chance to reply to any message they have received from a person and not just the one that they have received recently. Also, out of surprise Elon also announced that users will also be able to react with emojis on the message that they get on Twitter just like they can do it on Facebook and Instagram.

The other feature that is related to the voice and video chat on Twitter is that very soon Twitter users will be able to voice and video call anywhere in the world without letting them have their actual number. This feature is also something that has earlier been implemented by Meta in their social media platforms – Facebook and Instagram.
